With our latest update, you can now choose between “Checklist Template (with Assignee)” and “No Assignee Template.” This gives you full control over who can complete tasks—whether you want specific reviewers for compliance, or flexible, team-wide access for quicker workflows.
How to Access Your Checklist Tasks:

Open the relevant client file in Effi.

Go to the Checklist tab to view or manage internal tasks.
How to create/manage checklists

You can create predefined checklist templates for different deal types (e.g., Purchase, Refinance, Investment) via the 'Checklist definitions' tab in your platform admin access.
- Once in the Checklist definitions tab, you can create a new checklist using the 'Blank Checklist' button or amend an existing checklist or template using the blue pencil icon.
👉 New in our latest update: when you set up or edit a checklist, you’ll now see two template options—“Checklist Template (with Assignee)” and “No Assignee Template.” Choose the former when a specific reviewer or manager must sign off, or the latter when anyone on the team can complete the task. This extra control helps you strike the right balance between oversight and day‑to‑day autonomy.
How to manage checklists
- Head into the 'Checklist' tab on the left-hand side panel to view and manage any pending, ready-for-review and completed checklists.
- Use the filters on top to target specific leads, brokers or checklists assigned to you.
