Overview:
The household expenses section has been redesigned to improve how shared expenses are captured and displayed. Applicants who share expenses are now grouped visually, making it easier to manage household-level costs.
Key Benefits:
- Applicants sharing expenses are automatically grouped into a single household
- Expenses displayed in a table view by category
- Relationship types (e.g. married, de facto) determine grouping automatically
- Available in both the broker portal and consumer portal
- Frequency can be selected per expense (weekly, monthly, annually)
How It Works:
- Add a new applicant and select their relationship to existing applicants
- If the relationship is “married” or “de facto,” they are automatically grouped into the same household
- Household expenses are displayed together in a categorised table with totals
- Each expense row allows you to select frequency from a dropdown
- To update the household grouping, remove or re-add applicants as needed
Notes:
- The frequency selector is being updated from abbreviations (W/M/Y) to a dropdown
- If W/M/Y is still visible, the update may not yet be live in your environment
