Effi supports Zoom video conferencing directly within the calendar, allowing you to schedule meetings with automatic Zoom links — no manual copy-pasting required.
Overview
When you connect your Zoom account to Effi, a Zoom meeting link is automatically generated each time you create a calendar event and select Zoom as the conferencing option. The link is included in the event invite and sent to all attendees.
This is a per-user connection — each broker connects their own Zoom account independently.
Prerequisites
Your calendar account must already be connected in Effi (Google or Microsoft).
You must have a Zoom account (free or paid).
How to connect Zoom
Navigate to the Calendar page.
In the top-right toolbar, click Connect Zoom.
You will be redirected to Zoom to authorise the Effi application.
Sign in to your Zoom account and click Allow.
You will be redirected back to the Effi Calendar page.
The button will now show Zoom Connected, confirming the integration is active.
Once connected, the Add Meeting modal will include Zoom Meeting as a conferencing option when creating or editing calendar events.
How to disconnect Zoom
Navigate to the Calendar page.
In the top-right toolbar, click Zoom Connected.
Your Zoom account will be disconnected from Effi immediately.
The button will revert to Connect Zoom.
Note: Disconnecting Zoom in Effi stops Effi from generating Zoom links for new events. It does not delete past events or cancel existing Zoom meetings. To fully revoke Effi's access to your Zoom account, visit zoom.us/profile/connected-apps and remove the Effi application.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Zoom if my calendar is connected via Microsoft?
Yes. Zoom works independently of your calendar provider. You can use Zoom regardless of whether your calendar is Google or Microsoft.
Will Zoom still appear as an option if I disconnect it?
No. Once disconnected, the Zoom Meeting option will no longer appear in the Add Meeting modal.
Is this connection shared with other users in my organisation?
No. Each user connects their own Zoom account. Disconnecting your Zoom does not affect other brokers in your organisation.
I clicked Connect Zoom, but was redirected back without connecting. What should I do?
Ensure you are signed in to the correct Zoom account before authorising. If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cookies and attempting the connection again.
