Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to add notes and tasks to leads in the messaging tab, ensuring clear communication and task management within the team.
Key Steps
1. Select a Lead 0:00
- Select the lead you want to update.
2. Access the Messaging Tab 0:00
- Click on the 'Messaging' tab associated with the selected lead.
3. Locate the Task/Note Section 0:00
- Find the 'Task/Note' section on the right-hand side of the messaging tab.
4. Choose Task or Note 0:19
- Click on the 'Task/Note' section.
- Use the drop-down to select whether you want to create a task or a note.
5. Set Note or Task Details 0:47
- For a note:
- Enter the content of the note in the text box.
- For a task:
- Enter the content and set a due date (e.g., Friday at 4:30 PM).
6. Add the Note or Task 1:00
- Click 'Add' to save the note or task.
7. Verify Creation 1:38
- Check that the task or note appears with the correct labels (To Do or Done).

Ensure it is also displayed at the top of the messaging tab for visibility.
Cautionary Notes
- Ensure that you select the correct option (task or note) to avoid confusion.
- Double-check the due date for tasks to ensure timely completion.
Tips for Efficiency
- Regularly review your tasks and notes to stay organised.
- Use private notes for sensitive information that should not be shared with the team.
