The Agent Centre is where you run, track and manage Effi's AI agents: assistants that complete time-consuming admin tasks for you in the background, such as auditing an application before lodgement. Every agent run, its result, your assistant skills, connected apps, credentials and AI spend all live on one page.
What the Agent Centre does
- Runs agents in the background. Start an agent from a lead and keep working; the result appears in the Agent Centre when it finishes, often within seconds.
- Keeps a full history. Every task, who ran it, when, how long it took and what it found.
- Puts you in control. Turn skills on or off, connect the other apps your business uses, link your password manager securely, and set spending limits.
Free until 30 November 2026. The Agent Centre is free of charge for all Effi customers until the end of November 2026. You can still track usage in Billing & limits so there are no surprises later.
Agents available today
| Agent | Type | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Audit Application | Background agent | Checks every uploaded document and bank statement against the fact find and flags mismatches, missing information and compliance risks before lodgement. |
| Property Finder | Computer use agent | Searches property listings that match the client's brief and saves a shortlist. |
| Repricing Agent | Computer use agent | Submits a discount request for the client's existing Westpac-group loan in BrokerHub, using your own linked login. |
Opening the Agent Centre
There are two ways in: from the side menu, or from inside a lead.
From the side menu
Select the robot icon in the left-hand menu. Hover over it to see the label Agent Centre.
From a lead
- Open the lead.
- Select Actions in the top-right corner.
- Under Run an agent, you'll see every agent configured for you. Select one to run it on this lead, or select Agent Centre at the bottom of the menu to open the full page.
An agent shown greyed out with Unavailable still needs setting up (for example, its logins haven't been linked yet). See Agents and Credentials below.
A tour of the Agent Centre
The Agent Centre has six tabs. Use Refresh (top right) to load the latest results.
| Tab | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Tasks | See every agent run and its result |
| Skills | Turn assistant capabilities on or off |
| Agents | Set up and run computer use agents |
| Connected apps | Connect apps like Zapier and monday.com |
| Credentials | Link your password manager securely |
| Billing & limits | Track AI spend and set limits |
Tasks
The Tasks tab lists every agent run, newest first. Each task shows the agent, the lead, when it ran, who ran it, how long it took and a one-line summary of the result. Select a task to expand the full result.
Narrow the list with the filters at the top: Show (for example, My tasks), Status, When, a From and To date, or search by Lead name.
Skills
Skills are the capabilities of your Effi Assistant. Use the toggle on each card to turn a skill on or off for yourself. Defaults come from your organisation's configuration, and each card shows whether it's using the organisation default.
- EFFI Knowledge Search: answers how-to and setup questions from the Effi help centre, with links to the source article and video.
- EFFI CRM (always on): finds and lists leads, reads fact finds and history, reports on your numbers, updates loans, stages, tags and tasks, generates the SoCA and servicing scenarios, requests documents and bank statements, and creates Excel, chart and report files.
- Writing Assistant: drafts and improves emails, SMS, notes and tasks. Choose a Writing style and Voice input language. Always review AI-written content before you send it.
- Background Agents: starts built-in agents that work on a lead in the background (such as auditing an application) and lets you check on, continue or cancel their runs.
- Computer Use Agents: runs the computer use agents your business has set up, and manages the machine they run on.
- Credentials: looks up which logins exist in your connected password manager. It only ever sees item names, never the secret values.
Agents
The Agents tab manages your computer use agents: agents that operate a secure virtual computer to complete tasks in other websites for you.
- Computer use machine: your business's machine. It shows whether it's On, turns off automatically after 15 minutes without a run, and can follow a working-hours schedule (select Change schedule). Use Turn off to stop it.
- Agent cards: each card lists how many logins and inputs the agent needs. Select Configure to set it up, then Run.
- Not set up: if an agent still needs logins, the card lists exactly what's missing (for example, connect 1Password under Credentials, then link each secret). Run stays disabled until everything is linked.
An agent only ever receives the logins you link to it here.
Connected apps
Connected apps lets the assistant work with other apps your business uses. Connections are private to you. Choose an app from the Catalogue, then select Connect (most apps need an API key; select Docs for setup help).
Apps in the catalogue today: Zapier, monday.com, Airtable, Fireflies.ai, Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), Stripe, and a Custom MCP server for an app your team runs or another vendor provides. More apps are on the way.
Credentials
Credentials connects a password manager so agents can use your saved logins by reference. Effi never sees or stores your passwords: secret values are never displayed in the portal or the chat.
To connect 1Password:
- Create a service account in 1Password (select Open 1Password). Give it read-only access to only the vaults the assistant may use. You can name it "EFFI Assistant".
- Copy the token 1Password gives you.
- Paste the token into the field in the Agent Centre and select Connect. Effi checks the connection before saving and stores the token encrypted and scoped to you.
1Password is supported today; Zoho Vault is planned.
Billing & limits
Billing & limits shows what your business has spent on AI this period and lets business admins set limits, so there are no surprises.
- Spent this month: total spend, split into AI usage and agent runs, and when it resets.
- Business limit (AUD): a cap for the whole business.
- Default limit per person (AUD): a cap applied to each user.
- Period: for example, Calendar month.
- When a limit is reached: for example, Stop AI use until it resets.
- People in your business: each person's AI usage, agent spend and total, with an individual limit you can set.
When the business or a person reaches their limit, AI features stop for them until the period resets.
How to audit an application before lodgement
The Audit Application agent reviews the fact find, uploaded documents and bank statements on a lead, then flags discrepancies and compliance issues that could cause problems at lodgement. A check that would take hours by hand finishes in seconds.
Step 1: Run the agent
- Open the lead and make sure the client's documents and bank statements are uploaded.
- Select Actions, then Audit Application under Run an agent.
- An Agent started message confirms the run. It works in the background, so you can carry on with other work.
Step 2: Review the result
- Open the Agent Centre and go to the Tasks tab.
- Select the latest Audit Application task to expand it.
- The Completed result shows an overall verdict (for example, Not ready to lodge), the number of checks run, and a count of findings by outcome and severity.
- Under Issues to resolve, each issue shows its severity, what was found, and what to do next.
What the outcomes mean
| Outcome | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Verified | A document confirms it and none disagree. |
| Mismatch | A document disagrees with the fact find, or two documents disagree. |
| Not on fact find | Found in the documents but missing from the fact find. |
| Needs review | Nothing disagrees, but it needs a look. |
| Unverified | No document on file to check it against. |
| Flagged | A risk found in the bank statements. |
| None found | A risk looked for in the bank statements and not found. |
Each issue is also rated High, Medium or Low severity. Resolve High issues before lodgement.
Below the issues, results are grouped by area: Personal details, Address history, Employment & income, Other income, Living expenses, Assets, Liabilities and Risk flags. The task also lists Documents read and Documents that would help verify (not on file), so you know what to request from the client.
Step 3: Download the report
At the bottom of the task, select:
- Download report (PDF): a clear, client-ready summary you can save to the file.
- Download workbook (XLSX): the full detail in a spreadsheet.
The task also records when it started and finished, the provider and the duration.
Reading the Application verification report
Page 1 is a Summary: the verdict, the lead and applicants, the evidence reviewed, counts by outcome and severity, a Top issues table with what to do for each, and any Sources not provided.
The following pages break down each area field by field: what the fact find says, which document it was checked against, and the outcome.
In this example, the agent found a passport in another person's name, undeclared debts and an undeclared home loan, all within seconds.
Tips and FAQs
Tips
- Upload everything first. The audit can only check what's on file. Use the Documents that would help verify list to request missing items, then run it again.
- Treat results as a checklist, not a decision. Confirm every issue against the original documents before you act. The report is an automated verification, not a credit assessment.
- Set limits early. Admins can set a business limit and a default per-person limit in Billing & limits before usage grows.
- Give read-only access. When creating your 1Password service account, share only the vaults agents need.
FAQs
Does Effi see my passwords? No. Agents use your saved logins by reference through 1Password. Secret values are never displayed in the portal or the chat, and the token is stored encrypted and scoped to you.
Why is an agent greyed out or showing "Not set up"? It still needs logins or inputs linked. Open Agents, select Configure, and follow the checklist shown on the card.
Can I keep working while an agent runs? Yes. Agents run in the background. Check progress and results any time in Tasks.
Can I run the audit more than once? Yes. Each run is saved as its own task, so you can re-run after the client sends more documents and compare results.
What happens when a spending limit is reached? AI features stop for that business or person until the limit period resets (for example, at the start of the next calendar month).
Does it cost anything? The Agent Centre is free for all Effi customers until 30 November 2026. You can see your usage in Billing & limits in the meantime.
