Overview
This article explains the recent changes made to lender permissions in the system. Enterprises can now restrict which lenders their brokers can see by using a new scope setting for lenders.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Access Lenders
Go to Products.
Click Lenders.
Step 2: Add or Review a Lender
From the Lenders page, click Add New Lender.
In the Add New Lender screen, you will see the Scope option:
Global
Enterprise
By default, all lenders are set to Global.
Note: Global lenders appear in the form’s lender list. Enterprise lenders are available only to brokers they are authorised to service.
Step 3: Broker-Level Lender Visibility
Go to a Broker Profile.
Navigate to Lenders You Can Service.
For active brokers:
If the lender scope is Enterprise, the broker will only see enterprise-level lenders in the drop-down list.
Lenders not associated with the enterprise will not appear.
Step 4: Manage Lenders You Can Service
In Lenders You Can Service, locate the three-line (+) icon on the right side.
Click the icon to add or manage lenders.
The available lenders in the drop-down depend on the lender scope and feature flag configuration.
Drop-down Behavior
Brokers can only select enterprise-level lenders if the lender scope is enterprise.
Global lenders remain available in all other areas for customers, ensuring all their loan scenarios are supported.
