What’s This About?
This update changes how you see leads in the platform. Now, you can view leads based on multiple roles you have across multiple broker businesses — not just as a single assigned broker. This makes it easier for brokers and managers working with several businesses or in different roles to access the leads they need.
What You Need to Know (Top 3 Points)
More ways to see leads: You can now see leads where you have any assignment role (main broker, associate, partner, etc.), not just if you’re the main assigned broker.
Multiple broker businesses supported: If you work across several broker businesses, you’ll see leads from all of them based on your assignments.
Visibility depends on your role settings: Your access is controlled by how your Team Manager role is set up — check with your admin if you’re unsure.
How Lead Visibility Works Now
Assignment Roles Explained
You might be linked to a lead in different ways, such as:
Assigned Broker: The main broker for the lead
Associate Broker/Partner: The referrer of the lead
Member/Co-Assigned: Other supporting roles related to the lead
You’ll see leads where you have any of these roles, depending on your permissions.
Team Manager Role — Four Visibility Settings
Your Team Manager role determines exactly which leads and clients you can see, based on these settings:
| Setting | What You See | How It Works |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Show All Leads by Selected Assigned Brokers | Leads where the Assigned Broker is one of the brokers chosen in your role | Only looks at the main assigned broker role |
| 2. Show All Leads by Broker Business (All Brokers) | Leads where the Assigned Broker’s Broker Business matches selected businesses | Checks broker business of the main assigned broker |
| 3. Only See Leads When Assigned (Selected Brokers) | Leads where any assignment role includes one of the brokers in your role | Checks all assignment roles for those brokers |
| 4. Only See Leads When Assigned by Broker Business (All Brokers) | Leads where any assignment role belongs to one of the selected broker businesses | Checks broker business across all assignment roles |
Example Scenarios
Single Broker Business:
You belong to the Effi broker business → you see all leads with any assignment linked to Effi, even if the deal owner is from another business.Multiple Broker Businesses:
You’re assigned to Effi and GetEffi Broker Businesses → you see leads where any assignment relates to either business, so you might now see leads you couldn’t before.
Important Notes
The Leads page Broker Business filter is simpler and only checks the main assigned broker’s business.
This means some leads you can see by assignment roles may not show up when filtering by broker business on that page.-
You might notice:
Seeing more leads than before
Changes in which leads are visible
If you see leads you shouldn’t, or don’t see leads you expect, it may be due to this update.
