What's new: run Equifax from inside Fact Find.
You can now run an Equifax credit check without leaving the Fact Find. The check uses the applicant details already entered, and the results are written back into the form for you.
Where to find it: open the lead's Fact Find, go to Personal Details, and find the Equifax component.
Before you run a check
- You must have the client's consent to run a credit check.
- The applicant's name, email, phone number, and gender must be filled in. A driver's license is not required.
How to run a credit check
- Open the lead and go to the Fact Find.
- In Personal Details,\ check that the applicant's details are complete.
- Click Run Credit Check in the Equifax component.
- Wait a few seconds while Effi requests the report from Equifax.
- Review the results. Effi automatically:
-
fills the Liabilities section with the credit accounts found
- adds a full credit report summary to broker notes
- saves the report against the lead
-
Good to know
- Property and vehicle assets are not returned by Equifax. Enter these as usual, but the loan details will be filled in.
- For testing, create a new lead rather than re-running a check on an existing one. Existing data has to be cleared manually before a new check renders.
- This feature is available on supported Fact Find forms. Contact support@effi.com.au if you don't see the Equifax component.
