Overview
You can now quickly share report summaries with clients directly from Advanced Reporting using the email functionality.
The client’s email address in the report is now clickable (hyperlinked). When selected, it opens your default email client with a pre-filled draft that includes key report details.
This helps reduce manual work and ensures consistent communication when sharing report insights.
What this feature does
- Opens your default email client when clicking a client’s email
- Pre-fills the recipient (client) email address
- Adds the broker's email in CC
- Generates a report-based summary automatically
- Pre-populates the subject line with relevant lead details
- Allows you to review and edit before sending
How to send a report via email
- Navigate to advanced reporting.
- Open your desired report (e.g. Lead Volumes Report - Beta)
- Go to the Lead Details tab
- Click on the client’s email address (hyperlinked)
- Your default email client (e.g. Outlook or Gmail) will open
- Review the pre-filled email content
- Make any edits if needed
- Click Send from your email client
What gets pre-filled
When triggered, your email draft will include:
- To: Client’s email address
- CC: Broker’s email address
- Subject: Performance Update - (based on created date) - Performance Status
- Body: A system-generated summary, which may include:
- Performance status
- Total number of leads
- Finance type
- Property value
- Loan Amount
- Broker Name
- Referrer Name
- Referring Person Name
- Status
- Follow Up
- Sales Region:
- Sales Channel
Note: The content of the summary will continue to improve as enhancements are rolled out.
Setting up your default email client
This feature uses a “mailto” link, which requires a default email application to be set on your device.
If no default email client is configured, clicking the email link may open a blank page.
To set your default email app:
- Open your computer's settings.
- Go to Apps → Default Apps
- Search for your preferred email app (e.g. Outlook or Gmail)
- Set it as the default for Mailto links
When to use this
This feature is useful when you want to:
- Quickly share report summaries with clients
- Avoid manual copying and pasting of report data
- Maintain consistent, system-generated communication
Notes
- The email is not sent automatically — you must review and send it manually
- You can fully edit the email content before sending
- This functionality is currently available in reporting and may be expanded to other reports in future updates
