Overview
The Sales Tracker lead import feature lets brokers pull leads directly from Sales Tracker into Effi via aggregator configuration. Imports are processed in controlled batches to protect platform performance.
This feature is currently available for Simple and is controlled via a feature flag. Access may be restricted to platform admins only — check with your administrator before running an import.
Before you begin
- Confirm that your aggregator is configured in Settings. If not yet configured, kindly check the Salestrekker 2.0 Configuration Migration
- Do not run an import during business hours. Bulk imports can affect platform performance for other users.
- Have your Sales Tracker credentials ready if prompted.
How to import leads
- Go to Settings > Integrations and confirm your aggregator is connected.
- Navigate to the lead import section.
- Select Import from Sales Tracker.
- Please review the leads to be imported and confirm.
- The import will process leads in batches of 25. A short delay is applied between each lead — this is expected behaviour and helps protect the platform.
- Once complete, imported leads will appear in your pipeline.
Performance and limits
To keep the platform stable, the following controls are applied automatically during every import:
- A 2-second delay is applied per lead.
- Leads are processed in sequential batches of 25.
- Backend parallel processing is limited to reduce server load.
For large imports, expect the process to take several minutes. Do not close the browser tab while an import is running.
Known limitations
- Incomplete fact find data: Assets, liabilities, and employment details from Sales Tracker are not yet fully transformed into Effi's fact find. You may need to complete these fields manually after import.
- CSV report: A downloadable CSV of imported leads is not yet available in the UI. A manual report can be requested from your platform admin in the interim.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run an import at any time?
We strongly recommend running imports outside of business hours to avoid affecting other users on the platform.
Why is the import taking so long?
A short delay is applied between each lead to protect platform performance. This is expected. For a batch of 100 leads, allow at least 5–10 minutes.
Some fact find fields are empty after import — is that normal?
Yes, for now. Assets, liabilities, and employment data are not yet automatically transformed from Sales Tracker. Complete these fields manually in the applicant's fact find.
I don't see the import option — who do I contact?
The feature is controlled by a feature flag and may not be enabled for your account. Contact your platform administrator or reach out to support.
