We're excited to be introducing the new My Documents Tab.
This is a place that allows brokers and their team to store a set of documents not visible to the client, think for compliance purposes or future client reviews.
Files attached to My Documents tab will not be sent to your aggregator platform.
Where to find My Documents Tab?
How do I upload?
Simply drag a file into the grey zone or browse to a file. Once all the files have been selected, click on Upload to begin the process.
Please note there is no restriction on the number of files selected for upload, however each individual file cannot exceed 50MB. You are able to upload a collection of files where the cumulative size exceeds 50MB.
To share a file:
Select User: Give permission to your team members to see the file. If required, you're able to select more than one user.
Click Share to save the new permissions.
Un-share a file:
Click on the Share Icon of the file and click the Grey Cross icon to remove a user's permission to see the file.
How to differentiate between attaching files to Tasks or to use my Documents Tab.
From best practice, when the file has not settled yet, it's best to attach files which needs actioning to the Tasks Section.
My Documents Tab has been designed to store files that are not time sensitive, and helps broking businesses manage their file retention requirements in the event of any brokers leaving the business.
