Purpose

This document outlines the latest mobile app UI updates related to lead actions, specifically enhancements to email and phone interaction options. The goal is to improve user flexibility and ensure consistency across the application.

Scope

These updates apply to all areas of the mobile app where users can interact with lead contact details, including:

• Lead Detail screen

• Search screens

• Sliders

• Notes and Tasks sections

Feature Updates

1. Lead Detail Screen – Copy Function

Previous Behaviour:

• A single “Copy” button was available.

• Clicking the button copied all lead details.

Updated Behaviour:

• The copy functionality remains unchanged.

• Additional action options are now available for email and phone fields.

2. Email Actions

When selecting the email option, users are now presented with two choices:

• Copy Email Address – Copies the email to the clipboard

• Open Email Screen – Navigates directly to the email interface

Benefit:

• Provides flexibility depending on whether the user wants to quickly copy or immediately send an email.

 

3. Phone Number Actions

When selecting a phone number, users are presented with three options:

• Copy Number – Copies the phone number to the clipboard

• Call via Phone – Initiates a direct phone call

• Call via Aircall – Opens the Aircall application

4. iOS Limitation – Aircall Integration

Due to iOS platform limitations:

• The Aircall app cannot be opened directly with a pre-filled dial number.

System Behaviour:

• When “Call via Aircall” is selected:

  • The phone number is automatically copied to the clipboard

  • A pop-up message informs the user to paste the number into the Aircall dial screen

  • The Aircall app is open

5. Android Behaviour

• No limitations are present on Android devices

• Aircall integration works as expected, including dialling functionality

• No additional steps are required for users

Implementation Coverage

The updated interaction model has been applied consistently across all relevant sections of the app where call or email actions are available.
